This next week at the office should be fun. Yvette and I talked about many assignments I have to work on this week while she is out of the office. One thing that I am in charge of developing is a Facebook site for all of the upcoming interns that are in the classes behind us. This will help Wingteam to coordinate a larger staff base and also for TDM students to get their PLE hours easier. It will also show students a wide range of events and help them to narrow their scope as far as what they see themselves doing for their internships. It will be nice to have freedom, develop a plan of action, and hopefully make this a successful site for current ASU students.
Also, this week's assignment on assessing the competition got me thinking about improvements that I want to suggest, most of which include web site changes. After looking at some very strong websites I have a lot of good ideas to suggest to Yvette, who is already planning on redesigning the site this summer. I think she'll be very pleased with my ideas!

Linking ASU students with Wingteam through Facebook is a great idea. It's a win-win situation for all involved. I'm looking forward to checking it out when it is complete.

ReplyDeleteVanessa, I think that was very proactive of you to suggest changes to Yvette's website. Sometimes that's all that potential clients or employees get to see. She has a great company, but if the website is not great, as well, they may never know what they are missing.
